Collection: Dariusz Jedrasiewicz

Dariusz Jedrasiewicz is a Polish painter and graphic artist whose artistic journey began at the State Art School, where he graduated from a secondary school with an artistic profile. He continued his education at the Post-Secondary School of Advertising before starting his higher education at the Department of Art at the Radom University of Technology.

In 2001, he graduated with a degree in painting, supplemented with an annexe in graphic design. This dual focus on painting and graphic design has defined his artistic practice, combining a meticulous approach to detail with a bold sense of composition.

Since 2011, Jedrasiewicz has been an active member of the Radom District of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). Over the years, he has presented his works in several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions, gaining recognition for his contribution to contemporary art.

Currently, Jedrasiewicz continues to explore the areas of painting and graphic design creating works that reflect his technical knowledge and deep commitment to visual storytelling.

From the very beginning of my artistic journey, a human has been my primary source of inspiration—a lens through which I convey my personal reflections and life experiences. My work portrays the human being as a figure balancing precariously between illusion and truth. Through my art, I aim to connect with the viewer on a deeper level, offering a message that resonates yet leaves space for individual interpretation.
Each piece is an invitation to journey into a world where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary.

For me, painting is more than an artistic practice—it is a dialogue with the self and the viewer, a medium to express the stories, emotions, and mysteries that define our shared humanity. I juxtapose the fluid, organic lines of the human body with the weight and rigidity of geometric shapes, creating a dynamic tension within the composition. Scenes rich in emotional and narrative depth are often set against surreal, lyrical landscapes, enhancing their poignancy and inviting the viewer into a layered visual experience.
This interplay of contrasts is central to my creative process, offering a balance between harmony and discord, and providing a space where imagination and introspection converge.

My art seeks to reflect the human condition through a lens of surrealism and metaphor, blending elements of the familiar and the fantastical. It is this personal direction that defines my work, offering a perspective that resonates with both introspection and imagination.
